I cook like that too - just grab whatever's lying around and chuck it in a pan. It always turns out well. Made a great stew last night using the same principle. Yum. Oh and yes, I've made the Cape Gate mistake as well. Went there because it was closer for the majority. It was horrible. And spotted someone I didn't particularly want to be spotted by.
